Introduction.
The Porgera Mechanised System is designed to increase the sample
throughput rate by first screening the raw material with the shaker
screen. The System was built with two independent modules in mirror
image to handle large number of samples. The fine fraction is removed
by screening, then remixed with the crushed coarse fraction reducing
the load on the crusher, and providing faster crushing.

The main features at a glance.
Special self cleaning screen removing fine fraction, reducing the
load on the crusher, providing faster crushing.
The two sides of the system are identical. The samples are collected
in sample bins and both modules share a waste conveyor located in
the center of the System.
The system is also designed to minimise fine dust escaping in the air.
There are 10 suction points in total (5 on each side of the System)
which are allocated to areas where dust is created during the
sample processing.
The system has a simple sample loading unit on each side which
allows the operator to load the samples with ease, into the hopper.
Safety is incorporated in the sample lifting unit where the button
must be held down the entire time during loading or unloading.
Having this feature ensures that the Operator is outside the
barricade, eliminating possible injury caused by the sample bin.
