In our December newsletter we advised that a faster model
of ROCKLABS Boyd Crusher would be in production in 2001.
Features of the new Mark 3 Boyd Crusher include:
- Production increase of 200% to 400%.
- Jaw wear plate costs have been greatly reduced per sample
crushed. The earlier jaw
plates were bent from a tool steel plate and then hardened. The new
design is cast
in high chrome iron and the plate life is being reported as 5 to 10
times longer than
previously.
- The new plates can be reversed from top to bottom.
- The price of the Mark 3 Boyd Crusher remains the same
as the Mark 2 Model.

Mark 2 Boyd Crusher, we have up-grade kits available to convert
the Mark 2 Boyd to the new Mark 3 Model. Email or phone us

MECHANISED MODULES
Over the last year about 80% of Boyd Crusher orders have
also included the companion Rotary Sample Divider (RSD).
This "Combo" crushes and splits in one operation,
reducing operator time and minimising handling. Sample quality
is also improved.

ASSAYS.
ROCKLABS Certificated
Reference Materials are now being used in 27 countries. To
keep up with the substantial increase in demand, we moved
to larger premises and installed new equipment. Production
has been almost doubled. The range of Reference Material
has been increased by 5 new values.
Our website is constantly up-dated to ensure that customers
know exactly what is available.
